The metal stainless steel shell, crafted using MIM powder metallurgy, ensures durability. LAN's compact and comfortably weighted body, scientifically adjusted by Moondrop's experienced R&D team, sets a new benchmark for sound quality. Product review:
The LAN sounds great, especially for the pricepoint. Mainly using them on my phone with Wavelet and an AutoEQ profile. I'm not a big bass person, but do want it present and clear. I feel these lack a bit in that area, but once again, for this price I can't really complain. Very clear mids and treble. I use them instead of my HD 6xx when I'm on the move.
Hangout support team review:
Great support from Axel, box was damaged and my order was partially returned to them by my local delivery company (got the LAN but the JM12 DAC got lost during transport due to the damage to the packaging)
After providing proof (photos of the damage + message from my local delivery company) they sent me another JM12 free of charge.
Great team and products. Looking into getting myself a set of Daybreak to support them further.
Good
Everything i want in an IEM
My experience with IEMs in general has been filled with frustrations of closed off sound, poor fit, long session comfort, etc. My trip to Singapore brought me to The Hangout, and the Moondrop LAN was one of the half a dozen pairs I demoed.
The width of the sound stage and separation was staggering to me. It was extremely easy to sit down and pick apart tracks I wasn’t even intimately familiar with. A big detail on the sound signature for me is that the low end frequencies are not super strong, but are definitely present.
In terms of comfort, these are one of the only IEMs I’ve ever tried that actually stay in my ear canal and maintain a proper seal. The corners of the casing do not press against my ears in any way, making long listening session minimally fatiguing.
The LANs have opened my eyes to a new standard of IEM, and convinced me that exploring other IEMs in the future is a feasible option for my music listening. The best part to me is the LANs come in at a very affordable price point.
I have no remarks on build quality and longevity as I have only owned the Moondrop LAN for about a week.
Amazing
