Not the Blessing3:Dusk, not the Dusk 2, just simply... DUSK. The Moondrop x Crinacle DUSK marks a new and modern era of the DUSK namesake. The best rendition of the In-Ear Fidelity target yet.

A NEW FACE

The DUSK comes with a special CNC-ed forged carbon fiber faceplate - the very same you could find in million dollar luxury watches. Durable, lightweight, and sexy as all hell.

2DD, 2BA, 2 MICRO-PLANAR

Utilizing a meticulously-crafted isobaric configuration, the DUSK's dual dynamic drivers allow for a rich sub-bass experience without compromising the rest of the frequency response.

Cutting-edge micro-planar tweeters blend with balanced armature drivers to create unprecedented treble extension, with none of the timbral sacrifices. All these with the smooth and natural mids that you have come to know and love.

DUSK-SP

A USB-C cable that comes preloaded with 5 different EQ profiles and an astounding level of control. Tweak the sound to exactly how you want it.

Reference DSP

Call DSP cable a cheat chord, but this is TUNED WELL, and with DSP is where it is best used, The last time I had my head bob like this was when I listened to the Prestige LTD and the Mega5est. These are smooth, tip roll them with a foam tip and tuned out on London Tube; my commute has gotten so much better. DSP cable does drain my phone battery faster but I don't care if I have to carry an extra powerbank and a chord with me, worth it.

FreeDSP cable doesn't work with Apple Products (IOS or MacOS)

I want to start by saying I didn't want to leave this review. I'd been waiting for these IEM's since the Blessing 2 Dusk. What a disappointment this has been.
The included FreeDSP cable doesn't work with Apple IOS or MacOS at all. Since I have an iPad, iPhone and MacBook on my desk, I'm screwed. This isn't disclosed above, and if it was, I wouldn't have ordered them. I respect Crinacle. I don't want to hit a small business like his with a return if it was avoidable. Unfortunately, it is not.
I reached out via email to both The Hangout and Moondrop for help just over a week ago, and I didn't get a response.
Trying to use it with Amazon Music causes Amazon Music to crash. Guess where the vast majority of my purchased lossless audio is.
Sadly DUSK SP is not ready for market. It's impossible to review the DUSK IEM's as I cannot use them to listen to music.

I'm sorry Crinacle. I wish this had gone better.

Perfect

The Dusk, for me, is an exceptional IEM, especially with the analog cable. I treat the DSP cable as a bass-enhancing option—using the bass+ preset as an even stronger boost. Being a bass enthusiast, I appreciate how the Dusk delivers deep, powerful lows while still maintaining clarity in other frequencies.

That said, the DSP cable isn’t without its flaws. When I first got the Dusk, my DSP cable was defective—it wouldn’t load or save presets. I ignored it at first, focusing on enjoying the IEMs, but when I eventually tried troubleshooting with the app, the issue persisted. After reaching out to customer support and explaining my situation, they sent me a replacement. Since then, I’ve had no further issues with the DSP cable.

Apple’s removal of the headphone jack pushed audiophiles into relying on dongle DACs and USB interfaces to connect high-quality gear. Thanks for making our lives difficult, Apple. Despite these changes, the Dusk remains my ideal IEM. I’ve always admired the Blessing 2 Dusk, even though I never got to try it, and now that I own its successor, I can confidently say it was worth the wait. I love everything about it—its strengths, its weaknesses, and the experience it provides.

My first audio IEM

I absolute love the design and the sound. I feel like I have been missing out on quality audio.
