Not the Blessing3:Dusk, not the Dusk 2, just simply... DUSK. The Moondrop x Crinacle DUSK marks a new and modern era of the DUSK namesake. The best rendition of the In-Ear Fidelity target yet.
A NEW FACE
The DUSK comes with a special CNC-ed forged carbon fiber faceplate - the very same you could find in million dollar luxury watches. Durable, lightweight, and sexy as all hell.
2DD, 2BA, 2 MICRO-PLANAR
Utilizing a meticulously-crafted isobaric configuration, the DUSK's dual dynamic drivers allow for a rich sub-bass experience without compromising the rest of the frequency response.
Cutting-edge micro-planar tweeters blend with balanced armature drivers to create unprecedented treble extension, with none of the timbral sacrifices. All these with the smooth and natural mids that you have come to know and love.
DUSK-SP
A USB-C cable that comes preloaded with 5 different EQ profiles and an astounding level of control. Tweak the sound to exactly how you want it.
Specs
- Connection: 2-pin (3.5mm + USB-C)
- Drivers: 2DD + 2BA + 2 Planar
- Impedance: 14.5Ω± 15% (@1kHz)
- Sensitivity: 119dB/Vrms (@1kHz)

Can't get enough of that natural tuning. I dislike the DUSK SP Cable and Stock 3.5 mm Cable, so I resorted to using a custom XINHS 7N Bright + Dark Copper 4.4 mm Cable, which widened up the soundstage for me; I'd recommend people doing the same (using balanced).
Due to the DUSK being made with DSP/EQ in mind, it can handle user EQs pretty well (using SoundSource), when I want a more "fun" listen. Here's a few PEQs I'd recommend:
• Preamp: -2.7 dB, Filter 1: ON PK Fc 90 Hz Gain 2.7 dB Q 0.800, Filter 2: ON PK Fc 1400 Hz Gain -3.0 dB Q 0.800, Filter 3: ON PK Fc 5400 Hz Gain -3.0 dB Q 2.000, Filter 4: ON PK Fc 10000 Hz Gain 2.1 dB Q 0.800, Filter 5: ON PK Fc 14000 Hz Gain -5.0 dB Q 2.000.
Its pretty much just DUSK Default DSP with a slight bass and treble boost. It doesn't overly muddy or brighten up anything; to me, it just brings more shine and thump to it.
• Preamp: -3.3 dB, Filter 1: ON LSC Fc 800 Hz Gain 1.0 dB Q 0.800, Filter 2: ON PK Fc 1950 Hz Gain -1.4 dB Q 1.400, Filter 3: ON PK Fc 3250 Hz Gain 2.3 dB Q 1.900, Filter 4: ON PK Fc 4300 Hz Gain 1.8 dB Q 5.000, Filter 5: ON PK Fc 5300 Hz Gain -3.2 dB Q 2.000, Filter 6: ON PK Fc 9650 Hz Gain 6.0 dB Q 2.000, Filter 7: ON PK Fc 10800 Hz Gain -3.0 dB Q 5.000, Filter 8: ON PK Fc 12000 Hz Gain -4.0 dB Q 2.000, Filter 9: ON PK Fc 18500 Hz Gain -16.0 dB Q 2.400.
This one EQs the DUSK to the Mega5EST based on 5 seatings per side at different insertion depths made by Listener of The Headphone Show. It's pretty nice but a bit too bassy for my taste—you may like it better than I do.
A set that is adequate for most purposes
This is my first high-end item, and the sound blows my mind. I missed so many notes in songs before. I'm glad I purchased it.
Call DSP cable a cheat chord, but this is TUNED WELL, and with DSP is where it is best used, The last time I had my head bob like this was when I listened to the Prestige LTD and the Mega5est. These are smooth, tip roll them with a foam tip and tuned out on London Tube; my commute has gotten so much better. DSP cable does drain my phone battery faster but I don't care if I have to carry an extra powerbank and a chord with me, worth it.
