Considering that these are my first pair of iems coming from Airpods Pro 2s, these pretty much blow them out of the water. Tuning is as expected, quite meta but not very V-shaped. Tuned this to my liking with the PEQ on the Protocol Max DAC Amp. Metal shell is another selling point for me as I love how it feels n the weight it gives (wearing it does not seem any heavier compared to other iems though). Faceplate is gorgeous. Overall no complaints about the iems themselves.
Just to note that the cable is kind of sticky for me, swapped them out for aftermarket ones. Eartips also are kind of sticky-feeling for me so switched to Tangzu Sancai Wide Bore.
Only downside is the not-so-friendly price. Managed to cop them during the 11-11 sale so about $305 SGD which put less of a hole in my wallet. Great experience after using for a month now.
I like this very much. Got bass and I can hear instrumentals well enough. Wouldnt recommend getting it if its not on sale though.
Meta tuned, pretty clean and non fatiguing to use. Pretty much expected. Would give a 5/5 if not for some of the physical gripe on my end and a tad pricey.
The stock tips are okay, but I prefer my azla xelastec tips better.
Only 2 physical gripe:
1. The connector is too long, with my btr17, it sticks out like a sore thumb and gets pressed on when it's in the pocket while seated.
2. The mesh on pressure relief hole falls off and get hooked on quite easily if you do put your iem in the pocket from time to time (circumstance calls - no time to fit into case/pouch)
Still pending some help & recommendation from hangout's staff
Pretty decent. Its just another meta tuned IEM. So generally quite balanced and clean. But thankfully not too fatiguing too.
Bit expensive for what it is, I think Daybreak might be a better option.
