Truthear Nova

I really like the sound signature and the general usability. The cable is a bit too heavy for me but that's fine. My one little gripe is that the shell is a little big but it's still comfortable nonetheless. My real issue is that out of the box the 2 pin connection was loose, which got worse and worse over time, at this point the iem falls off the cable just by picking it up and even during use the physical connection keeps cutting out and the audio cuts out on my right iem. Both sides are loose but the right side is way worse.

If you are looking for a Harman tuned (IE 2019v2) iem look no further The Truthear Nova is an excellent iem for its price, its sound signature is engaging and non fatiguing and is a really fun sounding iem, the detail retrieval is good and the separation in instruments and layering performs decently well but the sound staging leaves something to be desired although not terrible it is on the smaller end, the build quaility is good and has a beautiful blue design, overall a great iem at its price would definately reccomend. (if you have big enough ears) 👍

Bought them for my non-audiophile girlfriend, she really likes them, that's all that matters.

Personally I really enjoyed them for the few days before giving them to her as a gift, perfect for someone who doesn't like a lot of mid-bass or treble (me at the time, still like that but less treble sensitive now), however I cannot write a full review as it's been 7 months since i have them away

Upgraded from Truthear x Crinacle Zero, and I absolutely love the sound signature on these. There is much more detail than the Zeros and the sound is so exciting. I'm no pro audiophile so I can't describe it well but it's a night and day difference. I've just been listening to my music in awe at the detail. I originally thought going over $50 was useless but this changed my mind instantly. This confirmed that I really do love the Harman target. Disclosure: I bought these from e-Earphones in Akihabara and not from Hangout Audio.
