Meet the Versatile Budget King: ooopusX Op.22
The ooopusX Op.22 delivers the best of both worlds with duo tuning built into one IEM. The first tuning delivers a natural and lively sound with tight and well controlled bass impact. Perfect for those seeking high fidelity playback of your music. However, if you’re hungry for excitement, simply rotate the tuning knob to access the bass boost mode, unlocking 5dB of extra bass power. This turns the signature into a neutral with a bass boost that sounds just both natural in the midrange and mega fun in the bass. On top of this, the Op.22’s ergonomic fit will keep you comfortable through any long listening sessions.

As advertised
TL;DR op.22 > Truthear Zero RED
I'm not the most sensitive there is to how IEM sounds, plus also I only have the Truthear Zero Red as the only comparison to the op.22.
The graphs should show that the Red should be somewhat similar to the op22 and yet it's not. The op22 has a much forward mids, where singing voices sound way more energetic.
More 'present' highs where small hidden instruments that you hear in songs become little more louder and present but in no way "shouty" to me.
The mid bass of the op22 is so much stronger than the Red where it sounds "striking" and "punchy".
Lower bass is about the same strong rumblyness.
All this without turning it to the bass mode, yeah, I've yet to try that out till now.
For reference, I've compared these two IEMs with Expedition 33 songs;
Une vie t'aimer
Poeme d'Amour
Robe de Jour
And some popular anime songs just for fun.
*Again, take my "review" here with largest grain of salt possible as I'm just casual listener with the most vanilla of tastes.
Great value for 50SGD, great starting point for eq to taste and hence a great pairing with the Truthear KEYX
Great shipping in Texas, Thanks Hangout Audio. The Op. 22 are decent for sure. I'm currently using the Simgot EG280 for gaming which I do prefer but for 35 dollars the Op.22 are worth it.
I like the sound profiles, but not a great fit for me personally.
