This is the first wireless earbuds I got coming from wired consumer earbuds. Was considering whether to get a wireless earbuds from usual retail electronic shops but decided to go with this as I wanted to support the place for what it offers to customers.
In terms of shop service, staff were friendly and very accommodating. Just let them know what you want to test and they will pass you the products to test if they are available. I was able to stay there and test a few other IEMs too. There was also no pressure to get anything and people are welcome to just try things out even if they are not getting the models they try.
In terms of product, sound is pretty decent. I really like that there is the option to do EQ through the app and to test how it sounds with some of the other targets like the Blessing 3, Harman targets.
I also am ok with the anime-girl like voice that comes with the earbuds. It might not be for everyone but I think this is also part of what makes it stand out among the other wireless earbuds. The good thing about the app is also that you can customise the touch gestures to change it from the default if you prefer other sets of gestures for the various options (play/pause, skip track, turn on/off ANC)
As mentioned by the shop's YouTube video, ANC is present but it does not block things out that well. When using this in Singapore's MRT along the tunnels in EW line, I could still notice the train announcement when stations are reached (even though they are of a lower volume) and the higher pitched sound when moving through the tunnel. The lower frequency noise like bus engine noise can be blocked out pretty well. Transparency mode is not that good though, I personally prefer to just toggle between ANC on and off. For its price, I think it is still a good compromise.
Like other reviewers mentioned, the earbuds can be quite tricky to get in and out of the charging case with the way it is designed.
I have not tested the mic for phone calls at time of writing so am unable to comment anything on it.
Overall, if you are aware of the potential downsides of the product and is willing to overlook them for its price point, it is a good buy. Will also continue to support the shop for their willingness to let customers try their products.
