First oem, had sony mx4 before. Never buying crap like that again.
Works great with my IEMs doesn't get warm I don't have any headphones to try it with but for the value I don't think you can beat it. In the famous words of Todd Howard, "it just works"
Affordable and does the job, what else could you need? Been using mine for about 2 weeks with no issues so far.
This does exactly what it is supposed to do, noting more and noting less.
