SINGLE-PIECE MONOLITHIC MARVEL
Project Monolith is CrinEar's limited-edition dual dynamic driver IEM built as a statement of engineering and design. Machined from a single block of brass and finished in 18K Champagne Gold, it introduces CrinEar's MDM (Multi-Dynamic Monolithic) system, where structure, drivers, and acoustics are designed as one unified whole. Limited to just 999 units worldwide, it represents a rare intersection of experimentation and craftsmanship.
At its core is a fully bespoke dual-driver system developed in direct collaboration with the world's leading IEM dynamic driver manufacturer. A 10mm driver anchors the midrange with natural tonality, while a custom 8mm woofer delivers deep, physical bass. Both drivers are engineered specifically for the Monolith's CNC-machined internal geometry, ensuring seamless integration and a cohesive, high-performance sound.
The tuning follows CrinEar's science-first philosophy, more expressive, bass-forward profile. Powerful low-end impact meets controlled, accurate mids, creating a sound that is both engaging and precise. Project Monolith is not just an earphone, it is a preview of the technology shaping the future of CrinEar.

First, about the pairs themselves.
I really like their sound and bass has a good resolution, much more fun to listen to than daybreak's. In overall I don't have much to add but to say this is a very interesting pair. I ended up going and re-listening the whole library of music more often than I would like to admit.
Second, the packaging.
Same as daybreak the box is just stupid large and doesn't utilize the empty space properly. The IEMs come with a silver nice looking cable without mic, bunch of silicone eartips and M sized foam tips...eh...ok? I mean, it's big for my ears and I have to press in tightly and then I cannot use the IEMs for more than an hour because it simply hurts, so I don't quite understand why "M" size foam tips come in the box, I can only theorizethat it's the average/popular option.
In the future, I would like to just see it as an extra add-on for the size of MY choice. And the case. It's...alright, a bit bulky, I have to play the "cramming noodles into the small box" game every time I want to put IEMs in, but it is what it is. Not a fan really.
Cable is ok, it does the job, but perhaps in the future you guys can also offer a paid upgrade for an option with microphone. That would be cool!
One problem I ran into with the pair is because the shell case is made of brass, it is conductive. It makes IEMs very sensitive to small electrical leakages, as a result I hear quiet buzzing in my ears and in only in them, I was not aware at all of the leakage before. But it is what it is :D
So overall I think IEMs are cool, but packaging and what is included can be improved/expanded. Hope the team can learn from the feedback. I am glad to support the project.
I was hesitant but I am glad it took a few days to sell out since it allowed me to get a built for purpose iem that turned out amazing. I did not get a Diablo. It was interesting to consider and I still do not have a planar item but it felt redundant since I also have a meta and a hype4. Though because of the Meta another limited release experiment was intriguing, but for the cost I was worried about not liking it. Thank fully that delay let me see other reviews that confirmed that the extreme bass did not overpower the rest of the sound. So with the Monolith in hand, I love it. It did take some tip changes but that was a my ear thing, wide bore is best or at least nozzle size like the dunu s&s. I think this could be an easy one and done recommendations for alot of people if it was accessable. Same tuning same technicals at a low price. If that is not in the cards then I am glad to now have 2 limited experiments to enjoy.
I'm truly amazed by the sound that's coming out of this IEM, the clarity is above what I expected from DD IEM. The bass is enjoyable especially when i was playing games, just like i'm back at the desktop pc with the subwoofer cranked up for the sheer joy of immersive experience.
The size is just right for my ears, it would be even better had there been more choice of ss size eartips.
Though i was taken aback by the weight of the IEM in the begining, but after a month use, it doesn't really bother me once its in my ears.
I find the stock cable a little thick, i tried to swap out with Moondrop thin cable, but immediately find the overall weight a little off balance 😅 Maybe there's a reason for the thickness of the stock cable.
The carry case was a little heavy to carry around, would have prefer a compact round leather carrying case. But the champagne gold design is really good, quite an aesthetic piece that I enjoy to watch on my desk.
Overall I'm pleased with the purchase and am enjoying music with it as I type out this review, so thumbs up!
These iems are very bass heavy and I love them for it. For me, the mids are covered up by the bass but not as much as I expected. I bought these not for my everyday listening, but for occasions when I'm really in mood for some edm music and getting riled up or blowing off some steam.
I love the included cable. It's firm but very flexible. The carrying case is very satisfying to open and close. #383
베이스가 지배적이지만 보컬도 충분히 좋습니다
고음은 충분하지만 화려하지는 않습니다
만듬세도 좋고 완전 노란 금색이 아니라 더 이쁘네요
가성비는 최고입니다
