Love the design of these, the shell has low microphonics which is great for side sleepers and they are fairly comfortable.
The tuning of these is amazing, yes I prefer my Ke4s but hexa are not actually a worse option per se. There is a good reason why hexa have not fallen out of favour despite being 80 in iem years old. Compare the graph of hexa to the new meta standard and you will find a close paring, with only a db here and there deviance, drop a casual peq to season to your taste and you have a winning iem.
Can finally see sounds and hear colours.
I love them
My second pair of iems and they more fit my preference. Since my audio reviewing experience is small I’ll just say the bass is good if a little bit quieter than I’d expect for neutral but it works for me a lot. It’s not fatiguing and all the instruments feel like they have space so I like the detail. I would recommend cable and iems seem quality and light.
They are small and light and come with a variety of ear tips so I am able to get a super comfortable fit but with a good seal.
Since I ordered from crin’s store I was surprised but maybe shouldn’t have been to hear a fee “F*** off and don’t die” as I opened my package.
I spoke to customer service a few times and they were polite and detailed with their responses.
This is my first IEM, and I chose the Hexa because of the more clean and neutral sound. Many many instruments went unnoticed with the speakers and headphones I had, until I put on the Hexa. Didn't expect to notice such a big difference for this price.
I was expecting the bass to be almost non-existent from reviews, but it's there and it's clean. Just not as "fun" as my headphones with more bass. But I overall much prefer the Hexa and they don't feel exhausting to listen to at all.
I bought a Fiio KA11 DAC/dongle to pair with it, and that also adds some nice warmth and bass when compared to connecting straight to my PC.
