So as the title of my review states, yes, I got to go to the Hangout and try these out in-person. I went in blind by knowing nothing about these beforehand. I hadn't seen the video about them from the Hangout Youtube channel about them either, since the existence of it was on the back of my mind (not Crinacle's main channel though) and wanted to try out the collab items with strong intent to purchase those, as well as some extras of the pairs I currently had at the time (because I wear them on the job and I don't want to lose a pair and have to wait to get them shipped in through the post in the middle of the ocean on a boat).
After trying out some off-the-wall picks to gauge what I'm looking for (the first one being one pair that I missed out on buying but liked best, aka CrinEar Meta, which I am still salty about because they were extremely good for what I listened to with them), these ones were my second to last ones I had tried out at my time at the Hangout. I knew nothing about them, didn't know the price, and didn't care what it was because fuck it we ball if I stop in Singapore for some tech. I tried them out through my dongle DAC on my phone with my collection of high quality downloaded files of a bunch of different genres of music that I can throw at it.
In that single session, with every one of my usual rotation of music had a chord struck with me in that the response of it was absolutely perfect for my collection. It had strong bass, clean trebles, clear vocals for male and female voices, hit the high end notes very well, and the cable of it was something I didn't know that I wanted for my cables to be like on my other pairs. It was like as if it was tuned exactly to my jumble of music taste with a flavor to it that I couldn't get enough of. I was glad that it was a part of the ones I had tried out that day.
So far, after buying a pair in person and getting some more time to listen to them while at work, I had bought 2 more pairs as back ups just in case for any reason. Not because I would believe it to be fragile, but I was addicted to the frequency response that they had to offer for my tastes and I didn't want to be without it for any reason. I would even go as far as buying these for someone that I know personally that has a similar taste in music but doesn't have IEMs at all. These are considered to be my dark horse pick.
Packaged well and a fantastic iem for a great price
By gosh they sound jolly good
As the self-proclaimed leader of the Sliivo cult, it’s only proper that I give this a review. If you’re looking for something with a punchy bass that doesn’t turn everything else into a muddy mess, I cannot recommend this enough. It’s not a super well-known brand, but for some reason, it slaps harder than God himself.
What really sets this apart is how balanced the sound is despite the powerful low end. A lot of bass-heavy options out there tend to drown out the mids and highs, leaving you with nothing but a wall of thumping noise. But this? This hits deep while keeping everything crisp and clear. Every beat lands with precision, every note cuts through just right, and it somehow manages to feel both powerful and refined at the same time.
Whether you’re blasting your favorite tracks at full volume or just vibing with some low-key beats, this delivers in a way that’s hard to explain until you hear it for yourself. It’s rare to find something that combines this level of intensity with such clarity, but whatever magic they put into this thing—it works.
Trust me, once you try it, there’s no going back. Welcome to the Sliivo way of life.
Ever stood in a parade with huge speakers all around?
This IEM is the closest I got to that sound and feel. Sub-bass has a good rumble, highs while not super clean and detailed has just the amount of imperfection that I would say it gives this IEM a very unique flavor that no other IEM I have tried could match.
It may not be cheap but I think its well within affordable range. Definitely worth trying out yourself.
