The Astrals are everything I hoped for. For music and and gaming, these are great. Fun and good technicals. The sub bass is fun without being overly fatiguing. They also tuned the Astrals with enough sparkle without piercing your ears (though definetely dependent on your senstivity to siblance). In addition to the tuning, I can listen to these iems for hours after using Dunu S&S eartips. I am very happy with my purchase :)
The astrals were a no brainer for the iems I tried in this price range, especially because of its imaging and sound staging. Treble is airy and leaves a lot of room for breathing, while being "colourful". Strong sub-bass and a clear mid-bass to top it all off.
Been using these for about a week or two, and honestly they're not exhausting to listen to over long periods of time, and in fact its extremely refreshing; feels like you're getting hit everytime you listen (but in a good way).
Thanks hangout for letting me try/buy these :) also really friendly staff
