Top Sound Qualität! Macht richtig Spaß und wesentlich besser als mein alter DAC der dasselbe gekostet hat
Great quality budget dac, supports inline mic with volume adjustment and multi function button,
Low noise floor, currently using it with my TE: Pure, being low impedence and high sensitivity it has the slightest warm 'fuzz' after audio, but it 'mutes' within a second of audio playback ceasing and has no delay when playback resumes. Upgrading from a budget ugreen dongle with a CX31993 without dedicated amp chip, the JCALLY negates all 'crackling' or 'popping' in the background when adjusting volume, or using an app that may initiate the audio circuit without actually playing audio (like scrolling youtube/instagram feed when video preview audio is muted)
It has a good tsnge of volume steps and heaps of overhead, on Pure I use it at 40-50/150 and for instance my Timeless AE at 60-70/150 volume, while on the ugreen it would have been 30 volume steps higher.
One quirk I have noticed, and please note this is negligable only seems to impact 3.5mm TRRS 4-pole connectors without a base ring (flush fit), and does not affect sound or volume button function is sometimes it won't work with the multifunction button of my 64 audio inline mic cable, which is a 'short' TRRS 3.5mm with inline mic/volume/mutli-function button, and this quirk with only affect play/pause (single press) and skip track (double press) but this may be because the trrs connector is a right angle flush connector without a base ring.
But 95% of the time it works without any issues at all including the above so still an easy recommend
Solved all the weird noise I would get from plugging straight into my motherboard’s jack and a little more length.
