This is my go-to dongle when listening to my IEMs. It is a powerful little beast. Well worth the money. A must-have.
I've been thinking about buying a new small DAP to replace a 5 year old Sony NWA106. Instead of the full change, I thought I could extend the life of it and improve the sound with JM20 Max. And no surprise, it is a really big upgrade. I'm not sure if it's the better DAC or just how much amp power it has, but there's a definite increase in resolution over all the headphones I've tried. Sennheiser HD600 was expected, but even easy to drive IEMs sound better. Now I need to see how it compares to an even older LG V3 quad DAC.
Looks, feels, and measures as an upgrade to the ubiquitous Apple dongle I had been using. Matches my Linsoul Tripowin Zonie cable. Probably not necessary with my collection of high sensitivity IEM’s but for the price, why not? Delivery was quick and painless.
