Defining the Meta
Project Meta is the debut model of Crinacle's own brand, CrinEar. Following a refined tilted Diffuse Field response and enhanced with a tasteful bass boost, it delivers a sound signature that balances precision with musicality.
Designed for both comfort and durability, Project Meta features an ergonomically compact shell with 5.8mm nozzles, made entirely from anodized aluminum for a lightweight yet robust build. The ultra-pure oxygen-free copper cable comes in a 4-core configuration, with an interchangeable termination for both 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced outputs.
With its premium build, meticulously tuned sound, and strictly limited production, Project Meta is both an IEM and a statement. Secure yours before they’re gone.

Comes with a nice thick carry case that seems to be water proof. The silicone tips are a but hard but i was able to swap them for some moondrop spring tips which solved it (i have not tried the foams). Cables are basically just crinear branded tripowin amber's, and the overall sound is very nice, they're more bassy than the blessing 3's while keeping good technicality so they've taken the spot of my everyday use because of that.
Nice build and minimalistic design. Modular cable and sturdy, spacious case is a plus. Not as vanilla or boring as other JM-1 renditions. Just weird as there should be no reason not to disclose the driver configuration as customers deserve to know what they're getting, which took someone to actually open it up just to find out that it's not as bang-for-buck as it was brought up to be. Looking forward to the next releases without much of the hypejob though. Good debut!

This is a solid IEM for the price, I’m very happy to have been part of this launch and to have “played the game” of hype around it…because it was promised a sound signature and the product is delivering that sound signature.
I really like the cable, the case and the fit of the IEM. I am less happy with the ear tips…foams work well for me, and I think they deliver the real intended sound for the product, but the silicon ones are not that great and uncomfortable (at least for my ear shape). I would’ve liked a better selection and an included cleaning tool for the price, but I’m happy with the quality of the IEM itself and the included cable and case, so spending 40p for a cleaning tool is not a big deal but you can see how this can become quickly a fallacy.
Regarding the driver config, I genuinely think it’s a simple DD+BA+high-frequency BA or microplanar on a three way crossover. It has both the pros and the cons of a similar configuration and for the price would be adequate, what’s really great with it is the tuning. Crin surely spent time and money on getting it right and you can hear it: it is Metal tuning done right.
I can’t wait to buy Reference and Daybreak, because if this IEM is the start of something great then the premise is very good!!!

Engaging and balanced, details pushed to the front, which sometimes affect stage/position. Overall a great set.
