Initially I couldn’t find The Hangout but as I was walking back to my hotel decided to do another search on-line and found a reference to the space being shared with an ice cream shop, so I turned around and there it was tucked away behind the ice cream shop shop.
I’m very glad I turned back. Very helpful staff - I was looking for something a bit different from my current daily IEM (the U12t). I described the sound profile I was looking for and also asked for a recommendation for an IEM I might otherwise struggle to audition. That wildcard IEM was the 7th acoustics Supernova - not the sound profile I thought I was looking for but immediately engaging. I tried 4 or 5 others but kept coming back to the Supernova’s rather engaging, rich, slightly warm mids. An easy listen and an easy choice.
Looking forward to my next visit to Singapore so I can come back to The Hangout.
