One of the best quality for money value propositions in comparison to other IEMs 2-3 times the price. Closest equivalent I've been able to try would be the Kiwi Astrals for double the money. A reasonable endgame for most who aren't chasing a more niche target.
Really good
My first ever piece of audio gear from CrinEar, and I'm impressed! At only $170, the CrinEar Daybreak is delivering performance you o
see in iems 2x-3x the price! The vocal performance when it comes to male vocals is for sure a highlight. Deep, rough male vocals really shine through nicely, and same can be said for saw synths. While I wouldn't buy these specifically if all you listen to is music with female vocals, I think it performs well enough. The sub bass is deep, and you can almost feel it in your head. The Daybreak works really well with electronic music, like Underscores or Jane Remover, as well as rock, or hip-hop, or really any kind of fun music. The detail in the top end makes snares stand out nicely, and drums in general sound fun. If you want a decently cheap pair of fun iems, these are definitely one of the most reliable.
Sorry for this negative review. But I have tried countless of times to try to fit this into my ear. I am an average height guy for an asian. 174cm with average ear. Everything fits my ear except this IEM. Ive tried every possible eartips. I even bought a moondrop spring tips. But nothing fits. I never get any good seal in my ear. I can’t push the IEM into my ear canal. Like at all. But the Moondrop Blessing 3 fits with no problem. I already bought the Nightfall. I hope that one would fit better. I can’t judge the sound quality either.
I’ve had these for 6 months but the right earbuds is becoming louder than the left one (or the left one quieter). It all happened in one day, i could notice the change and now i can’t use them with a centered sound. Quite expensive for earbuds with less durability than 20$ ones.
