CrinEar Daybreak

I wasn't planning on doing a review of the product because I don't usually write reviews, especially since I'm pretty new to the hobby. With that being said, I really enjoy these IEMs. I have other IEMs with more fun sound signatures or crazy treble peaks, but these are probably my favorite at the moment for music listening in general.

I listen to a lot of Power Metal, Prog Metal, Instrumental game music, EDM, and just anything that has a solid bass line or melody to it. The Daybreak (a really funny name for me mainly because of the Kiseki video game series' newest arc is was titled Daybreak in English) just work perfectly for most of the music I listen to. A lot of older Power Metal albums are poorly mixed (or just a lot of old metal in general) so the sound on any IEM will be all over the place. That being said, the Daybreak make these poorly mixed songs play in the cleanest and clearest way. Some more fun IEMs or more "bassy" IEMs will amplify the bassiness of the tracks on the albums which does drain all of the mids and instrument separation which is what I personally look for when listening to music.

The Daybreak's mids are probably some of the best tuned mids I've heard in a long time. The instrument separation is good, not the best, but still one of the best I've heard so far. Guitars sing brightly and are easily detectable. Vocals are clear and clean. Male vocals that have a darker tonality to them still leave a little to be desired, but the female vocals, like holy shit, they are front, powerful, and such a joy to listen to.

The treble is done nicely so there are no crazy peaks, but leave enough for the details to shine through. I'm not the most sensitive to bad treble as I am to poorly mixed treble, but these still shine bright in the treble region.

The bass on these is perfect more my tastes, as 808 drops sound massive enough, and the bass I care about most (the bass guitar) comes through as clear as possible in the tracks that have a more forward bass, such as Iron Maiden or Vulfpeck.

These are the third pair of IEMs I purchased with the same cash (the other two just didn't live up to the expectations so I returned them) and these are going to be my daily drivers for the next while, and most likely will be my travel set. These are great, please buy them. As a natural sound lover, these are probably the best on the market under $500 imo.

The lows have plenty of rumble without the kicking sensation that hurts
The mids are well expressed and separated
The highs are a ear candy to behold with the harmonics albeit the metallic ping/hiss can get very tiring at first.
Originally ran these wired with a JM7max and its way too much power.
What you for the price its a very good deal.
As for me personally for me being able to completely replace my ATH-M50xBT2 for everyday use when paired with a Fiio BTR13.
Wired or not though its still a force to be reckoned with 💪🏻

Overall it sounds great tonally, especially with the now included wide tips. However, I do think that the cable quality could be better and the 2 pin connection on my left side is a little loose. Overall though, a great package and hard to beat IEM for the money

The tunning is great and the hardware excellent for its price. Can't wait for what crinear will do as a high end IEM model.

Hands down my favorite IEM right now, love how natural it sounds so I can listen to it for hours without fatigue. Definitely an all rounder I would recommend to anyone new to IEMs.
