I used TRN BT30 for wireless. Only worn 1 ear while the other left in the case the connection would slip out and bounce around often. The internals of my left daybreak is broken and tiny rattling inside.
Audio volume was louder than my Blessing 3 Dusk as a similar quality but lack sturdiness for everyday uses.
It was too large for my left ear using smallest silicon tip but sits more deeper and securely.
Overall price is good compared to my other dailies
Not built for active use
Received the item quickly through this merchant. Excellent shipping and service.
Daybreak has a well-balanced sound signature that I can grow and prefer, a good upgrade. Details are much present on the highs and the bass and sub-bass are truly engaging and detailed just as the highs are.
Materials are nice and seems to be in high quality including the accessories.
One flaw that is not mentioned by many is the 3.5mm jack has no clearance for phone that has cases on them. I can't fully insert the 3.5mm jack and have to source an adapter to manage this problem. Other offerings from brands like Truthear have this allowance to accomodate the phone cases in the market.
Great sound, very well balanced!
Those who want a warm leaning set of IEMs that are all-rounders, these are probably going to suit your needs. It doesn't take the life out of hip-hop like the more analytical IEMs I own and makes abrasive artists; such as Death Grips; not fatiguing to listen to for extended sessions.
They can be a bit V shaped so those who want a more neutral sound will be best to wait for the Crinear Reference. I found the supplied buds to be pretty irritating to my ears and they caused a bit of pain; the IEM has a wide bore and the tips are a bit too big for my ears. I replaced them with some Spinfit tips and I can literally wear these for a whole 8 hour work day without issue, the IEM itself is very comfortable.
I decided to upgrade from the Zero: Blue 2s, which i really enjoyed, to these and wow, I couldnt be happier with them. I put some Divinus Velvet wide-bores on them and they sound fantastic. Thank you Crinacle!
